"Making Waves sets the gold standard in best practices for educating young people from low-income backgrounds. It is a model for raising achievement and attainment for less advantaged students that needs to be implemented in hundreds of communities nationwide."
Providing The Educational Opportunities That Change Lives

Services
Making Waves provides comprehensive services for low-income students that are typically available only to young people from wealthier backgrounds.
All children deserve the advantages that higher education offers, including opportunities to have well-paying jobs, advance in careers, and become well-rounded individuals ready to take on the responsibilities of citizenship. Making Waves is dedicated to ensuring that our students acquire the skills necessary to gain acceptance to college and graduate with a bachelor's degree.
Making Waves applies an individualized approach for each student. It accepts students where they are and charts the appropriate course to ensure long-term success. Our charter school and after-school programs provide a broad array of services not common in many schools today.
