Since 1989, Making Waves Education Program has been making college acceptance, attendance, and graduation a reality for Richmond and San Francisco students from economically depressed communities. Our 8-year tutoring and teaching program works with schools and families to provide a support network for students, ensuring their success. As a result, hundreds of our hard-working students, also known as Wave-Makers, are admitted to academically challenging middle and high schools in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Our experienced staff and active parent association work together toward one common goal: to support our students by nurturing their talents, so that they gain admission to the college of their choice. With a college attendance and graduation rate of more than 90%, we know that we are changing lives.

Making Waves Education Program has two locations, the Richmond Campus and the San Francisco Campus.
